Experience our Gangster Themed Rally in Beautiful Northern Wisconsin
The Prohibition and the Great Depression of the 1920s and '30s were lucrative times for outlaws like Al Capone and John Dillinger. Al Capone had a fortified Northern Wisconsin summer home, to which hydroplanes flew whiskey from Canada. His lieutenants frequented the saloons and brothels in Hurley. Rival Roger Touhy vacationed in Minocqua, fishing with a machine gun. These suspects were often on the run, and that usually meant Northern Wisconsin.
